Many of my client schools and quite few others have asked for my opinion as to whether they should sign up to this agreement, which was sent out by email by Julie Young, Birmingham City Council's Interim Assistant Director for Education on 20th March 2019. The simple answer is "YES", as this is clarify the legal basis for most data sharing between schools and the local authority.
On a different tack it is a shame that the email neglected to blind carbon copy (bcc) the recipients so everyone can see each other's email addresses, many of which were not in the public domain. A simple oversight I'm sure but one which shouldn't happen!
